We decided to launch Bistari the end of March, choosing instead a warm land adventure for winter.

The winds of Africa were calling!

Amazingly, on our first day in Africa while walking through the Cape Town Marina, we saw the ARC ‘25-‘26 boats leave for their voyage to Namibia and on to Brazil. Watching a dozen boats gently cruise by while listening to singing bagpipes was moving. Fair winds fellow sailors.
